  • Tiago Bilhim received an award as reviewer of JVIR papers in 2016

  • Martins Pisco received an ward by the paper “Medium and Long Term Results of PAE in 630 Cases”, published in JVIR in 2016 and was considered one of the best publications. It is the 2nd time that he. received such a distinction.
  • The presented paper: “Short, Medium and Long Term outcome of prostate artery embolization for patients with benign prostatic artery embolization: 1000 patients” was the best amongst 1354 and for this reason was considered the “Abstract of the year and numbered as Nº 1 and Classified as distinguished Abstract”
  • Due to the impact of the above paper M. D., was invited, by the 3rd time in 6 years, for a press conference on prostate embolization, at SIR meeting.
  • Besides the paper above mentioned MP presented another paper of “Prostate arterial chemoembolization for prostate cancer”.
